 Akai's X-2000SD has combined Cassette, Cartridge and Reel to Reel. Recording /Playback within a single tape recorder.

All the features which can be attained by using Five conventional recorders have been inter-connected to bring you another Akai Quality Tape Recorder.

Reel-to-Reel: 4 track Stereo recording and playback with a one-micron gap head,.

Cartridge: 8 track Stereo recording and playback with a one-micron gap head.

Transfer from reel to Cartridge and transfer from Reel to Cassette are unique features of this model.
